The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it deems “unwarranted” travel bans issued by the United States on five European individuals involved in combating digital hatred and disinformation, an EU official has said.
EU Officials Condemn US Move as ‘Coercion’
Officials from Europe such as Emmanuel Macron charged Washington of “bullying and threats”, following the visa restrictions targeted figures that were central to campaigns to enact laws regulating US-based technology firms.
